Beyond Type 1 is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people impacted by diabetes. Through education, advocacy, community programs, and partnerships, we work to ensure everyone affected by Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes can thrive.

As the organization grows, there is a need for stronger coordination across teams and clearer execution on complex work that spans Programs, Growth, and Marketing.

The Role

Beyond Type 1 is hiring a Project Manager to help move cross-functional work forward.

This role sits at the center of multiple teams and is responsible for bringing clarity, alignment, and momentum to initiatives that involve many stakeholders. You will be expected to ask the right questions, connect the dots, and help teams move forward with focus.

You will work closely with leaders and team members to shape plans, identify gaps, and ensure work is progressing in a way that supports organizational goals.

What You’ll Do

Drive projects from idea to impact

• Own projects end to end across Programs, Growth, and Marketing
• Translate high-level goals into clear plans, milestones, and next steps
• Adjust plans as priorities shift and new information becomes available

Operate as a central connector

• Bring together input from different teams and ensure nothing gets lost between handoffs
• Step in where needed to unblock progress and resolve issues
• Anticipate needs and address them before they become problems

Enable decision-making

• Provide leaders with clear visibility into progress, risks, and tradeoffs
• Offer recommendations when priorities compete or constraints arise

Build and improve systems

• Strengthen how work gets planned and executed across teams
•  Use tools like Asana to support clarity and accountability
•  Introduce structure where it is helpful without overcomplicating the work

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience working in complex, cross-functional environments
• Experience owning work that spans multiple teams and stakeholders
• Strong judgment and the ability to prioritize in real time
• Comfort working through ambiguity and making progress without perfect information
• Clear and direct communication skills across both technical and non-technical partners
• Experience building or improving processes and ways of working
• Familiarity with tools like Asana or similar platforms

We are less focused on specific titles and more interested in how you operate. This role is a good fit for someone who takes ownership, connects dots across teams, and helps bring structure to situations that are still taking shape.

Salary - $100,000-110,000
