We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join Beyond Type 1 as a Business Operations Manager.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives on wearing multiple hats, combining operational expertise with project management skills to enhance organization efficiency and drive the development of digital assets.  The core work of this role takes on tough business challenges and finds ways to fix them. We are looking for another great problem solver to join us to deploy processes that make our teams better and oversee lifecycles of digital products such as GetInsulin.org and community platforms. 

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, dedicated, detailed-oriented with a strong desire to work in a highly collaborative environment. You are a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills who will combine empathy, technical skills, data-based problem-solving, and first-principles thinking to drive key projects.  You are a key piece of the puzzle that helps take the organization to international superpower.  This role reports to the SVP Operations, Finance & Planning.

Responsibilities include:

Operations Management:

  • Work closely with partnerships, marketing, and social impact teams to ensure software implementations and integrations are built for success.
  • Design and optimize workflows ensuring alignment across teams for seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Leverage data analysis, process mapping, automation, and effective communication to analyze, build, and deploy processes that make our teams more effective and efficient as we scale.
  • Create KPI reporting; collaborating with the teams to track and report all KPIs against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Provide training for our teams for updates, enhancements, and new deployments.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the lifecycle of digital products and assets including websites, internal software, and community platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define product roadmaps, and set priorities.
  • Work closely with external vendors to implement an AI-driven health coach.
  • Coordinate with external software developers, designers, and other vendors to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, using insights to drive improvements.
  • Ensure a user-centered approach to all product decisions, optimizing experiences for the diabetes communities we serve.

Strategic Focus & Productivity

  • Assist the SVP of Operations, Finance & Planning in driving the execution of the company’s top organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with the SVP of Operations, Finance & Planning to foster agile organizational practices that enhance the overall efficiency of the organization.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with CRMs (Hubspot, Salesforce), project management tools (Asana) and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker).
  • Experience with no-code/low-code automation tools.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong ability to break down complex processes, recommend solutions, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement them.
  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and product design methodologies.
  • Some familiarity with API integrations.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms including content management systems
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure success.
  • A combination of high ownership mentality and detail orientation that has resulted in a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Ability to work in periods of ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the lives of the diabetes community.
  • Knowledge of diabetes either through your own lived experience or through supporting a close family member.
 

The base salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific location. This range may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
